True self

Amidst the shadows, secrets cast,
A truth, like whispers, shrouded fast.
We wear our masks in silent play,
Yet yearning for the light of day.

The mirror shows a face that’s known,
But hides the dreams we’ve never shown.
We dance on paths of other’s dreams,
Yet deep within, a hidden gleam.

Unveil the mask, let courage soar,
The heart’s true colors must explore.
For in the silence of the soul,
A symphony of self takes hold.

To be ourselves, a fearless quest,
In colors bright, we’ll paint our best.
Let truth emerge, the shadows flee,
In being us, we shall be free.
