Worlds end

In shadows deep, the world did sigh,
As whispers of its end drew nigh,
The skies ablaze, the oceans weep,
In solemn tones, the earth did keep.

A symphony of chaos played,
In nature’s final grand parade,
The stars above, in cosmic dance,
Bid farewell to this world’s last chance.

But in the midst of death’s cruel sting,
A glimmer of hope began to spring,
For in our hearts, a fire burned,
To sow the seeds for which we yearned.

To mend the wounds of this fragile sphere,
To face the end with love, not fear,
In unity, we found our might,
To greet the fading day with light.

So though the world may meet its fate,
In this uncertain, final state,
Let’s hold our hands, and hearts entwine,
And pray for a new world to shine.
