Our government

In the realm of government’s reach so vast,
A web of power, where control is cast,
They claim dominion over skies so high,
In whispers, some say, weather’s in their eye.

From towering buildings in the city’s heart,
They watch the clouds and plot to play their part,
With satellites, they track each storm’s advance,
And even rumors say, they make it dance.

But truth be told, in whispers and in jest,
This notion seems to put us to the test,
For though they rule with might and skillful hands,
Nature still defies their vast demands.

The weather, a force that’s wild and free,
Is not confined by any decree,
So, while we ponder government’s great might,
Let’s not forget, nature still holds the right.
